Morning! With summer flying by, it didn't hit me until last night that school starts back in two weeks and I'm not ready. Eeek! Since we live south of downtown Atlanta, our county starts school a week before Fulton county so I need to get on the bandwagon.

I may have mentioned that my oldest is homeschooled and this year was supposed to be the year we transitioned to public school but we are going to hold one more year. So now, I need to focus on my efforts on finalizing my decision about the curriculum selection we are going to use. His teacher (yes, we have a private teacher for homeschooling) has recommended the one she usually uses but I have my reservations about the price. The good thing is that I'm going to the Southeast Homeschool Expo next weekend and will get a chance to meet the company in person. Super excited about that.

In addition to curriculums, there are school supplies, uniforms and such that need to be purchased. And did I forget to mention that his 9th birthday is also the same week school starts and he has several doctors appointments. The hits just keep on coming. The positive thing is that the Friday before school starts, my girlfriend and I decided to take our boys to Six Flags for the "last summer bang" so that should be fun.

By the way, who remembers Schoolhouse Rocks? I used to love that show, but I specifically remember this episode about laws and bills.
