#weekendinreview

Y'all. I had the best weekend ever. Seriously. Not only was it our anniversary weekend (4 years of wedded bliss) but we also spent the day at Six Flags Over Georgia with the in-laws and had so much fun.

Let me kickoff things off with Friday....

It's our anniversary! 4 years ago on this day, my husband and I said, "I do" at Eagles Landing Country Club. It couldn't have been more a perfect day - despite the horrible rainstorm that came through and then disappeared - and so we celebrate each year. After dropping the kids off at daycare/daycamp, we had breakfast at home and then headed out to see Wonder Woman (which was awesome!), followed by some afternoon shopping at Old Navy, and then dinner and music at Pappadueax's restaurant. Like I said, it was an awesome day.

Saturday
I woke up early Saturday morning to make a quick run to Walmart for some fans for our day at Six Flags Over Georgia. Good thing I packed the fans because the heat was crazy but we had a great time. My in-laws had never visited Six Flags so it was fun to be there for their first time. We still didn't do the whole park but we made some great headway. I won't post all of the pictures but here's a few:
The family taking in the sights

My son and nephew on their first ride

My sister-in-law joined in the fun on the Wonder Woman ride

The whole family enjoyed the carousel ride

This is a "flying" rollercoaster where you actually lay down and fly.

Entering the gates. Let the fun began!
By the time we left the park, everyone was starving and ready for bed. I came straight home and bathed the kiddos and then showered myself, ate a quick dinner and passed out. It was a long but fun day had by all. So much fun that my mother-in-law wants to go back in two weeks LOL

Sunday
Sunday was spent resting up from the weekend. Well, I take that back. The early part of Sunday was spent cleaning out our garage and setting mouse traps because a mouse ran in and has apparently made a home in our garage. Hubby, my son and nephew did a great job cleaning it out. After a quick trips to Lowes to pick up traps and everything else, we were set. Here's hoping that thing doesn't return but I do love my neatly organized garage now.
