Girl, Where Have You Been??

By Monique of Walk.Run.Repeat - September 10, 2017

Hey guys! So, yeah, I pretty much suck as a consistent blogger these days LOL BUT in my defense, I was totally engrossed in Game of Thrones, Insecure and life stuff that I just couldn't simply find the time. Life, however, has been interesting so I have a minute to catch up with you.

Let's see...my computer has been giving me fits. I don't know what's going on with my iMac lately but I'm going to blame it on the pending Apple announcements coming up, but it has been on the fritz. I have had to do a factory reset twice...yes, twice. In the process, I lost ALL of my pictures from my #weekendinreview posts that I was going to share with you guys. *face palm* But, no sense is going backwards, right?

I just got back from 3 days in Hilton Head with my family for our annual Labor Day/end of summer trip. Here are a few images:

There's something to be said about Hilton Head. It reminds me of Savannah in so many ways but its definitely the swampland. I love its charm and appeal. If you ever need a place to stay there, check out Seapines Resort. I promise you won't regret it!

On the job front, business has been good. I've spoken with two potential clients. If I've learned anything on this entrepreneur journey that I'm on, it's you have to continue to grind EVERY SINGLE DAY. Literally. I think I pitch my business and services to at least two people per day but that's the game. You have to continue to do it even when you don't feel like it. Part of me freaks out daily about things but the other part of me says, "You got this girl." And you know what? I know I do.

Oh! The gutters on the side of the house are pulling away again. I swear. I had this fixed last summer and it was even repaired when the roof was replaced after the tornado of '13. Like, what in the world? So I'm back on the phone daily with the insurance company. I think it's time to replace them all the way around the house before more damage is caused. Because of the location of the damage, we can't get to the part of the attic so we don't know if water has gotten in or not. I haven't seen any on the ceiling (thank goodness) but we do have a storm headed this way so....

Other than that, life is busy as usual and we just keep on trucking!
