Here it is 6:52am on a Saturday
morning and I’m sitting in a near empty Panera Bread.
What am I doing here, you
ask? I actually have a 7:30am meeting with a client…on a Saturday morning.
While I would have preferred to be at home, passed out or at least waking up an
hour from now, I am 35 minutes from home in a lone coffee shop waiting on a
meeting to begin.
I’ve been feeling rather
reflective about this entrepreneurial lifestyle that I live lately. Not in a
bad way – just in a its-been-a-year-and-I-can’t-believe-I’m-making-it way.
In my next post, I’m going to talk
about how my friend NaturallyNa’s post about securing her new job after alayoff has made me quite reflective lately. In short, this life isn’t for
punks.
One of my favorite shows, Married atFirst Sight, Pastor Calvin Roberson always tells the couples that marriage isn’t for
punks (truer words have never been spoken!), but neither is striking out on my
your own.
In in a season of change – this much
as true – but I’m also in a season of serious growth. Spiritually, mentally,
physically, emotionally…and I think this is a good thing.
While I sit here in this lone
coffee shop sipping on my ginger peach tea, I am grateful.
