I had an idea about what to write for my weekend in review post, but let's be honest - the only noteworthy thing to discuss is the fact that my little brother is now a college graduate! 

The Graduate

I am so proud of this kid it's ridiculous. Not only did he make Deans List almost every semester, not only did he take 18-19 hour per semester, but he did all by himself (with the occasional help from big sis and big bro). This kid is amazing and I couldn't be prouder. And here's the crazy thing - all 3 of us now have degrees. That's right. All 3 kids. Naturally, my parents were beaming all weekend, and I'm pretty sure my mom went through an entire box of Kleenex. 

So, to my little brother, Christopher, the world is yours. What's next?

With my brother's graduation right around the corner, finding appropriate graduation attire can be frustrating. The formality of the situation and the Georgia heat requires balance with attire and luckily, I think I've mastered this.


Not only am I coordinating my family's graduation attire for premium photos, but also so that we are comfortable and chic at the same time. Toddler shoes need to be durable, fashionable and comfortable. While visiting Dillard's, I found the perfect pair of shoes for my 2 year old by Ralph Lauren.

11 days into the new month and this is my first blog post. Eeek! Well, on a positive note, I'm doing well. Busy but well. My little brother is graduating from college on Saturday and I couldn't be prouder or happier for him. He has worked SO hard the last 4 years and is so deserving of everything. He has maintained a high GPA, made Dean's List every semester - this kid has been on it. His plans are to attend Georgia State University for graduate school so fingers crossed as we await word on his acceptance.


So what's new on my end?


I've moved forward with registering my business. I'll talk about it in another post but I've been very focused on getting this business stood-up (officially) and getting more clients. With the way our lives are going, I'm going to need more flexibility so that I can be more available for my family. More to come with this soon!
